As I move the site forward, who knows what the future has in store for me and it; however, I feel I’m long overdue in providing something more than my box office predictions as far as recurring items goes. So, I’m happy to announce that in the upcoming weeks, you’ll start seeing some new things appearing on the site. One of the biggest additions will be a new podcast that myself, Nick of Cinematic Katzenjammer, Bubba of Flights, Tights and Movie Nights, and Vern of The Vern’s Video Vangaurd are joining together for.. As a young child I used to listen to Steve Friedman a/k/a Mr. Movie on a local radio station. Mr. Movie will filled with so much film knowledge and movie facts that I aspired to be like him when I grew up. As I got older I could no longer find Mr. Movie on the airwaves, but had found many movie websites that I enjoyed. As luck would have it, one website, Movie Mavericks that I frequented had a podcast on iTunes and I became an instant fan. I’ve listened to Trevor and Jason for over a year now, and it’s thanks to them that I initially became interested in doing my box office predictions. As for our as of yet unnamed podcast, our first episode acts as more of an introduction, but going forward we’ll discuss that week’s chosen film, cover the upcoming theatrical releases, and whatever else comes across our plates. We hope you’ll bear with our growing pains, and listen in on our ramblings and discussions. The first episode should be posted in the next few days, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know what you thought. Please be honest, so that I (and we) can continue to learn and improve.
In addition to the podcast, another thing I’ve thought to incorporate is a running feature, much like Movies That Everyone Should See which can be found at Fogs Movie Reviews. Fogs puts a lot of work and effort into his reviews, and this feature really stands out because of all of his efforts; it’s without a doubt one feature I look forward to reading. So, beginning in September, I’m going to begin a feature called Look What I Finally Saw. It feels like a day doesn’t go by when I’m asked if I’ve seen a movie, either considered a all-time classic, cult classic, or just popular among audiences; and it never fails that if my answer is anything other than “of course” that I get a “how could you not have seen that?” or “you HAVE to see it!”. So, my goal is to try to start seeing those movies that I “HAVE to see” and write my thoughts about them. I have little doubt that there’s going to be some movies that come as a surprise, and others that will make people wonder why I even bothered. Either way, hopefully I’ll touch upon some movies that some of you may have not yet seen and will now want to.
Hopefully this is just the start of things to come and I’ll be able to come up with some more original content. I’m open to suggestions, comments and/or criticisms so please don’t hesitate in either commenting below or emailing me directly at Joe@twodudereview.net
Thanks!
Joe

Great news, Joe! I look forward for the future.
Thanks Mettel!
I’m really looking forward to it as well! Things are looking bright from where I’m standing (or in this case, sitting).
Good luck to you! I’ll definitely check it out.
Thanks Trevor!
The first podcast was fun, I’m already looking forward to our 2nd show.
